An article Dr.Abey P.Philip, Assistant Professor titled ‘Cointegration test for growth and employment of Indian software industry’ was published in the Journal of Amity Business School, January-June2007 issue.

Another article by Dr.Abey P.Philip, Assistant Professor on the topic ‘An analytical study about proximate determinants of software industry in India’ was published in the book Studies in India economy edited by Shri K.R.Gupta and published by Atlantic Publishers, New Delhi.

Paper presented

Dr.V.Raman Nair , Additional Director participated in the international conference on ‘Emerging financial markets’ organized by PSG Institute of Management at Coimbatore from December 26 to 28 and presented a paper on ‘Capital account convertability: Issues and implications.’ His paper was also published in the book incorporating the proceedings of the conference, brought out by Excel Books.

Campus placement in full swing

The campus recruitment at SCMS –COCHIN is in full swing. So far 108 students have already been placed from the PGDM batch 15. ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Prudential, ICICI Lombard, Axis Bank, Centurion bank of Punjab, IBS, Caritor, Allegro, Magma, Balmer Lawrie, Schnieder Electric, Idea Cellular, Spectrum, Sify, Tata Teleservices, Times of India and RPG are the major companies who have already recruited our students.
