The Australia-India Council (AIC) led by the Chairman, Mr.Darren Gribble, former Australian High Commissioner to India, visited SCMS-COCHIN on October 22, looking for opportunities for cooperation and joint ventures between the two countries. The AIC was established by the Australian Government to broaden and deepen Australia-India relations through contacts and exchanges in diverse fields including arts, education, science and technology etc.
The other members in the delegation were Mr.Vinod Daniel, Mr.Sandy Hollway, Ms.Heather Neate and Ms.Asha Das.
The delegation had fruitful discussions with Dr.G.P.C.Nayar, Chairman, SCMS Group, Prof.N.C.George, Vice Chairman, Prof.A.K.Kesava Pillai, Registrar and other directors.
